This book is mainly about two girls who are neighbors. One of the girls' name is Scarlet, she is Halley's neighbor and her best friend. There are two protagonists, they are Halley and Scarlet. The antagonists are the kids that make fun of them because of how they look. the main conflict is when Scarlet's boyfriend passes away and that just makes the kids tease them more then they already were teased. The theme is definitely don't judge people you just met, or another way to phrase that would be don't judge a book by the cover.  The best part of the story is actually something that would give away the ending so I will pick my second favorite part so I don't give out the ending. So my second favorite part was probably when Scarlet and Halley don't get baffled by when the bully's really are bad. Instead of letting the bully's get to them, they stand up to them.
